GLOBEIR 3D simulates projectile trajectories with real physics over the AOR's elevation model. The four-panel display puts up to four weapons against the same target side by side, so the planner picks the best balance of reach, accuracy, and clearance from friendly troops in under a minute.
Built for the gun line
- Weapon library — 100+ pre-defined profiles, plus custom weapon building. A captured or new system is entered once and the unit's library solves missions against it like any standard gun.
- METCM environmental input — full vertical wind and density profiles. On the day of operation, loading fresh MET gives a dual-angle display: green corrected angles, red reference, and the delta the gunner dials in.
- Advanced solver — a dual-axis solver accounts for terrain, environmental factors, and the Coriolis effect.
- Impact analysis — displays the dispersion ellipse on the actual terrain; crest clearance is checked against the real profile for high-angle vs. low-angle decisions.
Planning-table outcomes
Pre-mission fire training
Out-of-range or unsafe targets are identified and reassigned before the operation — at the table, not on the gun line.
Preventing friendly fire
If a trajectory clips a ridge holding own troops, the tool flags a terrain impact instead of a hit. The planner switches weapon, charge, or angle before any round is fired.
Counter-battery analysis
Place the launcher at the suspected enemy site and the target on the actual impact point; the tool returns the angle and charge the enemy must have used.
